This is an epic movie! it has that Slumdog Millionaire feel. So it’s very indie. In comparison this film is a little bit more violent. There is one reason I can’t give this a 10 off the bat yet I can’t tell you why because it might ruin the movie.
On the other hand I will give this movie a ten only because of the relevancy. In almost any country in the world immigration is effecting you on one side or another, and this tells it like it is (talking to Spanish friends at work for conformation, most of them have seen it by the way).
Because of this it deserves a 10. It’s a modern day history lesson. The gang in the film has origins in El Salvador as well, if you know any El Salvador immigrants ask them about this they will tell you how Human Rights groups are the cause of them having to leave the country.
